Among the many changes made: the setting is more of a modern-day Urban Fantasy world, the main character is basically Scarecrow reimagined as a human Stock Shōnen Hero, Dorothy is an Action Girl, and Toto has magical shapeshifting powers.

Toto The Wonderful Adventure is a more action-focused interpretation of The Wizard of Oz aimed at the Shōnen Demographic.

Oh, and the Wicked Witch of the West uses bio-weapons, the Tin Man is a cyborg, the lion is genetically engineered. which gets her mistaken as the great and powerful 'Dorothy'.

Dorothy of Oz is basically a manwha-ized retelling, starring an ordinary Korean girl who can see the Yellow Brick Road, which leads her to Oz.

Oddly, the Humongous Mecha aspect of the show remains. It contains analogs of Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as part of a unit called the Glinda Knights.
